We went to a wedding at the Hopkins Inn in New Preston this past Saturday.
It's at Hopkins Vineyard, in the northwest corner of Connecticut.
I called the Inn a few days before to review the menu. The chef went over
the selections with me, and I pre-chose my meal. When we got there I
identified myself to the staff, all of whom were aware I needed a GF meal. My mother
baked me a chocolate cake, which she gave to the staff when she arrived; that
was my choice.
My meal (prime rib, potatoes, steamed veggies) was excellent, the staff was
fantastic, and I was very pleased with the whole experience. As an aside, the
setting for the wedding was beautiful! A good choice all around.
Kathy
