From Time to time, my hard drive which is a Fujistu 6.46 GB with three
partitions mounted as Primary-Master, goes into hard spin mode with a solid
yellow light.  Keyboard and mouse freeze at same time. Pressing system
reset, while restarting the system, does not kill the spinning or the
light.  I must do a hard power off shutdown then a power on startup.

Do folks have any idea what this problem may be or how I can diagnose it?
