Depends what you mean by "soon". Vibrio parahaemolyticus
www.cfsan.fda.gov/~mow/chap9.html is associated with raw and undercooked
fish and shellfish, but has a median incubation period of 15 hours (range
4 - 96 hours). The median duration of illness is 2.5 days.
Contamination by infected food handlers or cross contamination with food
contact surfaces and utensils could also be at play. Staphylococcus aureus
www.cfsan.fda.gov/~mow/chap3.html has a fairly short incubation period.
While symptomatic, submit a stool sample to your local hospital or public
health department for analysis.
