I read that book in my AP English class in high school, and have never forgotten it. It's a classic.

Am I the only one who remmebers a popular book from the 50's or
60's
entitled "The Ugly American". Such sentiment is not new, but because of
"Operation Iraqui Freedom" such sentiment has become institutionalized in
that it is evident in foreign policy matters. It's been seething a long
time.
