Actually, some 2 meter radios can be put on 440, the old FT-11R radio from
yaesu, all you had to do was cut a diod and it made it a duel bander the
FT-11 and the FT-41, or you could move that diode to switch which band it
was for, I understand others can be that way too. Not all, but some.
