Only software for that I know of that's accessible is digitalk, as far as
the units themselves, I can't say for sure what's good, I have a rigblaster
myself which I had up on my echolink link before I completely lost interest
and I've used that but I had a hell of a time with it at first, they forgot
to supply stuff with it that should have been there, and you would need
sighted help with wiring that up, unless you get the nomic in which case I
can give you a write up I made for mine so I can wire it for anything I
want, but the problem is, like I said, I didn't get a few things with mine I
should have and when I complained they dragged their feet about mailing me
the stuff though it is a good unit, if I was going to do it again I'd
probably go with another company. For 2 meter packet though, I still use a
TNC, my KAM I got for $25. Other issue I see with the sound card
interfaces, if you're using a synthesizer that uses the sound card, you'll
either have to get an external one or do what I did and install a second
sound card though I'm sure these new external ones will do just fine for
something like that.
