I'm using the clearspeech. DOn't have a scanner running here, but had
the xyl read it. IT just tells you about the hookup basically. A 12
vdc power source, suggests a fused line there.

IT makes operating in the rf soup which is city center new Orleans
possible.

ON some types of noise/interference it does a wonderful job. WHen
it's notching many frequencies I find there's a degradation of audio
fidelity, but the voices are intelligible most times even then. AS
with everything else, no such thing as a free lunch. Audio dsp can
change the sounds of voices when it's having to work hard and not for
the better quality wise, but on most voices under most situations I
can't complain.

WIth an op with a low bass voice if it's notching lower frequencies
heavily sometimes it will degrade intelligibility but ... you know the
drill. Same with high ladies' voices if it's notching a lot of high
frequency stuff.
