It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kaari Lowe's brother
in Nairobi, Kenya. He passed away on July 1, 2004.
Kaari's brother's funeral and burial were held on July 9, 2004.

Kaari urgently flew to Nairobi when she heard that her brother was
critically ill.
Kaari and her husband Dick Lowe have been active and executive members of
AAM and AWA since the founding of these two organizations. They are always
among the first to lend support to others in time of joy or sorrow.

More information will follow when Kaari returns from Nairobi.
In the meantime, we keep the family in our thoughts and prayers at this
difficult time of transition.

May the soul of Kaari's brother rest in perfect and loving peace.
