WORT 89.9FM community radio will tomorrow morning at 8:10 discuss the current Liberian civil war. The nearly 14 year old conflict has degenerated into severe humanitarian crisis with imminent outbreak of disease as war ravaged Liberians flock the capital, Monrovia, for food, water, shelter and other basic necessities of life. It is estimated that one million people are trapped in the central part of the city.

According to Stan, host of the Eight O'Clock Buzz, a news magazine program on WORT 89.9, one of Liberia's prolific jounalists, Alex Redd, will be featured as special guest to discuss the Liberian debacle. The Liberian journalist is currently working to release a new book on Liberian politics.

Listeners are urged to tune in tomorrow,at 8am for the show.

Thanks for listening.
