For Dragon to work well, you have to train it to recognize your voice.
I've had students bring digital taperecorders to lectures, upload the
file to Dragon, and try to have it transcribed to text but the accuracy
just isn't there.
Each person has to train Dragon, but you can't use multiple voices at
one time.

That's my 2 cents!

Dear EASI subscribers,
Has anyone used Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred or any other
software in order to transcribe an interview recording?
My colleague and I are contemplating for purchasing a voice
recognition
system like Dragon in order to ease the burdon of transcribing hours
of
hours of interview data from digital recorder. Does anyone have any
comments on that? Thank you for your input in advance.
