Hi Mollie,

I have used Norton anti-virus, AVG anti-virus and Mcafee anti-virus without
any significant accessibility issues.

Some of these programs have consoles that are not too accessible; the trick
in such a case is to right click the drive or folder you need to scan and
start the anti-virus from the resulting menu.
