This is a very easy upgrade if you take a little care.
Your friend is mistaken about the size of the RAM module, and you are
correct, as far as I know.
Note the size of your memory before and after the install and you will know
the size of the module.

Could someone plse explain to me how I go about replacing my RAM on my
pc. I have a Pentium 1 with 32 meg of RAM. A friend has given me a
chip which he says has 96Meg of RAM. Is there a chip which has this
amount of Ram? I thougt they come in 8/32/64/128 Megs??
