the beep code does indicate a non existing ram profile. This happened to me
about a week ago..............after phoning around my son suggested to have
a look at the ram board. A powersurge had partially dislodged the board and
one of the white clips had come undone. As I repositioned it I noticed that
it needs quite some pressure to be inserted correctly and for the clips to
catch properly. Now I know it sounds silly but try reinserting it again and
making sure it is all the way in.............it might be just a small thing
like this that causes such upheaval in once PC life........
