Last night I baked a huge chicken, completely free of antibiotics etc.
It had enormous fatdeposits under the skin and a guest just couldn't eat
it. I gnawed my way thru a large amount of meat and felt pretty satisfied.
This morning I had cold chicken with mayonaise, a favorite of mine, and
my stomach was definitely not agreeing with it. All day I feel slightly
nauseous and only late afternoon when I drank several glasses of
fruitjuice the feeling is subsiding. Still a bit wobbly on the feet here
but better.
I resented drinking fruitjuice as I'm trying to lose weight. Still it
seemed to straighten out something and calm my stomach. Normally I
don't have a problem with eating fat but it's warm and humid here,
weather that brings out the worse in me anyway.
I love duckmeat and the recent discussion brought water to my mouth but
I'm not going to try it for a few days now.
Does anyone have experience with this? If I had ginger in the house I
would have made an infusion with it but somehow the juice did the trick.
