Dear Comrades:
As we marked the end of 2003 and the beginning of a new year, there still remains
many inequities in The Gambia. As I read numerous postings to the L, I am
convinced more than ever before that we are equally interested in a better Gambia.
As I read inequity after inequity relative to education, I got this zeal that many
before had provided services to us who were anti-PPP. The question is, can we
provide such needed services to innocent Gambians irrespective of our differences?
I salute with eager that the affirmative is true. I categorically affirm that we are at
a critical juncture in our country's history.
Our responsibility to a better Gambia should not transcend any political lines.
Our willingness to reach out constructively should not tantamount to surrendering
our principles and ideals. In essence, it is rightfully our right to help in our respective
vocations. I am of the opinion that our intellectual capacity will not be worth a dime if
we move to a different direction.
I hereby announce that I will have a free accounting lecture in Bakau, Sere Kunda
and Brikama from Monday, May 11 2004 to Friday May 29, 2004. I invite the civil
