Dear Soffie,
I visited the NDAM website and and read the text of this document.
I have a question. What will be the text of the final document that will bear
teh signatures, the same at the site or a different one?
I would like to sign a petition as a Gambian against the unlawful detention
of Waa Juwara, and to demand his release, but I do not want it to appear that
I am a NDAM supporter although I do not have anything against NDAM and will
fight to protect their right as well as the rights of any political party or
individual to be accorded their protection under our constitution.
I think that a petition that you want both supporters and non-supporters of
NDAM to sign as Gambians in general against any form of suppression of our
constitutional rights needs to be somewhat generic.
Sincerely.
Jabou Joh
