Hi Bobby,
Go to the health food store and get some Rescue Remedy (Bach Flowers) or
Calms Forte tablets (Hyland Homeopathic Remedies). Either will work for
fear/stressed based aggression. I use the CF with ratty bratty when he goes
to the vet for nail trimming or to the groomer for a trim. Also, I use it
when he goes "off" for no apparent reason - like something goes nutz in his
brain and he has recollections of his abused past and reacts with snarling
and snapping. Thus far, he's never bitten anyone.
Re: the Rescue Remedy - you can put a few drops on a treat and dose or add
to drinking water for the animal.
Neither sedate; they simply take the edge off anxiety.
Cheers!
Carla
