Hi. Lou, K2LKK here.

I found out the hard way to be wary of operating the Millenium QSYer in
high RF environments such as portable operations where the antenna is not
that far away or operating 75 meters on a small city lot (my situation). A
little RF in the shack will cause the QSYer to lock up. When you press
keys, nothing happens--you do not hear a confirmation beep from the piezo
in the controller, and you don't control the radio. I opened my unit up
and pulled the battery for about 15 minutes, and it reset, but this is a
real pain. Unfortunately, the poison frequency that locks mine up happens
to be the section net frequency for NTS in this area. Not fun!

Right now, as a work around, I'm unplugging the controller whenever I have
to use that frequency, and I've left a note with John Hansen about the
problem, hoping that he has some suggestions about choking off the stray
RF. I'll let you know if I get any feedback on it.

73, de Lou K2LKK
