Dear Rev. Akyeampong,
It is with a sense of saddiness and emotional regret that I learnt of the
death of your mother, Mama Margret Akyeampong in Ghana. Mothers have a
natural permanent connection to every human being that upon one's parent's
death its like a part of you is taken away. Having lost my own mother in
1999, I know the pain and sorrow that you will endure. I have known you as a
man of faith, who was very helpful in my late wife's bereavement in March
2003, and so will be able to accept that God's will had to be done. You have
been a pillar of moral strength to our Madison Community, and have touched
the lives of so many people, including myself, in their times of needy.
On behalf of my family, please accept our sincere condolences, and we will
remember you in our prayers. I will be calling you to arrange a personal
visit to your home.
Thank you,
John Mazvimavi.
