1. If you are running a software firewall, consider uninstalling it until
you have the networkding configured.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Windows XP network can't connect Laptop runnng XP Home
Hello. I have verizon DSL. I a linksys dsl router with
3 PCs and networked printer. PC O/Ss are W98se, ME,
and XP Pro. I want to connect a Dell laptop runing XP
Home. The linksys routers sees it in the DHCP Table.
But the laptop can't make the Internet connection IE
6. I can see the shared folders of the other PCs, but
I can't open them. The error says I don't have
permission, see your administrator. I'm setup as an
administrator.
