I recently added a nic card (3com) to my computer. The Nic works fine now
but I developed a new problem. When I shutdown windows 98 it hangs at the
screen that says it is shutting down. It never powers off the computer
like it used to. I also note, but this could be my imagination that the
sound seems choppy at times. Don't know if the two are related.

Any ideas on where to look for this problem?
