I believe that all CD-ROM drives have a small hole on the front for a
straightened paper clip to be pushed into. This is a mechanical eject
option to open a stuck, or unpowered drive. It should not harm the drive
to do so. Do not pry the drawer by any other means because that will
likely break it.

Hello, I have a cd rom drawer that will not open. I'm leery of just
prying it open. Does anyone have any ideas? Worked fine at last use
and there is nothing in it now. thanks in advance
