Hi Wally, it just came in a big plastic bag inside a
cardboard box with basically a UPC symbol, the number
"2042", and the text "EGGWHITE PWD W/BIOTIN 10 LB".
Judging by the date it looks like it is good for 2
years. I tried searching high and low on the internet
but to no avail. So i'll keep going to my local
(non-franchise) health food store from time to time.
I've never tried the liquid egg whites. You could also
use whole eggs and nix the coconut milk/nut milk (that
is below).
As to the coconut milk in the shake, I saw a smoothie
recipe in "The Diet Cure" that had nut milk instead of
the coconut milk. You take 1-2 cups of nut seed milk
(which is 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds,
pine nuts filberts, or almonds and let them soak in 2
cups of water overnight and then blend in a blender)
and use that instead. I've tried it with the almonds
and it was pretty good.
Good luck!
Liz
