What do you define as high protein ie how many grams? How would one determine
the requisite grams of protein for a high protein regime. Also what
proportion of fat to protein would you consider ideal? I ask because after
experimenting with 1) unlimited protein (anywhere from 80-100+ grams per day) and high
fat, low carb; and then trying 2) unlimited lean protein lower fat
(emphasizing monosaturates and fish oil ) low carb and finally my current regime of
3) moderate protein (maximum of around 60 grams), very high fat (around 70-80%
of my diet and emphasizing saturated fats) and very low carb -- I find that I
really feel best on regime #3. I felt the worst on regime #2 -- constantly
hungry and often constipated and lacking in energy. I am 5'2.5" and 118.5
pounds as of this morning. My goal is to be around 108.
