The Protein Power books do not advocate extremely low fat, nor low fat at
all. The Zone books do, but NOT the Protein Power books. The Protein Power
Lifeplan includes 3 plans of varying strictness. The strictest plan is
called the Purist plan and it is paleo except for 1) the allowance of whey
protein powder which the Eades acknowledge is not paleo, but which is allowed
for convenience; and 2) flaxseed, which is also not paleo. The Eades do not
advocate restriction of fats.
