Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions;Mainly proteins, pepperoni,
biltong,fish,etc.Almonds are good for blood sugar stabilization and some
fruit.Can eat sugar free chocolate sparingly.Use olive oil,make salads.As we
were advised eat  high protein low carb.should eat protein every 3 hours and
use blood glucose monitor.Check out Atkins diet,and also check for
yeast,book 'Infectious Diabetes".Two energy bars were mentioned (are they
low carb?) and list sent of diet(thanks).Strictly
avoid;alcohol,beans,potatoes,Corn ,pastas,Burritos,sweets.
Some suggested bean tortilla roll-ups,filled with cheese and refried
beans.Thanks again,we have been feeling quite overwhelmed trying to get the
hang of this new addition.
