Hi all,
I just read the post declaring that Gevalia coffee contains "gluten" and
had an immediate panic attack! Gevalia plain decaf has been a staple of
mine for several years, and I've never had a problem with it, that I was
aware of. So, I immediately placed a call to customer service, who said
that the plain coffees (both regular and decaf) come strictly from the
beans, which are roasted, ground and packaged - no additives. The only
possible gluten content could be in the flavored coffees, to which the
flavor is added after the beans are ground. Gevalia coffee - regular and
decaf - has always been on the safe lists, as long as I can remember.
