James:
Epson scanners seem to be very popular right now and they are cost
effective.

Subject: scanner recommendations
I am going to get a new medium duty scanner for our alt text services. The
Canon scanners are a bit too costly. I’m hoping to keep it at $1000 or
less and I need flat-bed as well as ADF capability. We work with Omnipage,
WYNN and Kurzweil 3000. Any suggestions? – Thanks, James
