Hooooo, mercy! I can't help but chime in here. I've met only three
dieticians who haven't fallen hook , line and sinker for corporate
mumbo-jumbo and the USDA Food Pyramid. Their proffesional assocated held a
conference in Denver a few years back, an event at which the late Dr. Atkins
and Dean Ornish had a debate. There were HUNDREDS of women (I saw no male
dieticians) walking around with the bright blue Equal bags they got at the
door. I was there covering the event for a small, now-defunct low-carb
publication. I asked a few what they thought of Atkins. You'd have thought
I'd asked how they felt about Beelzebub!
I'll be thinking of you, Don. With the help you're getting here, I doubt
you'll have any trouble stumping her. Please let us know how it goes!
