I think there are genetics involved as well in regard to graying of dogs. My
7 year old yellow Labrador Retriever and 6 year old black Curly Coated
Retriever, have been eating raw for 4 years. The Curly has the start of some
graying under his muzzle, and the Lab has more white around her face. Healthwise
they are in excellent shape, and I will never feed any other way.
Thanks to all for responding about my question of having only one kidney and
eating a lot of protein. I will talk with my physician next Friday on my
annual visit, but I am feeling much more comfortable about continuing eating this
way. I just feel too good for it to be bad for me.
