except that the herbs in that case are plants that herbivorous animals
learned to render harmless the toxins . something we are not able to do . i
have butchered enough deer , goats and sheeps to know that the plants there
don't taste like our culinary herbs , i have tried the leaves they eat and
many are just not good to us .
