Long/short, the body converts carbohydrates to glucose. Most people know
that. What many don't know is that the body can also turn protein into
glucose (blood sugar) if you're eating too much of it. Call it too much of
a good thing. If you're not trying to lose weight, what follows may not
apply. If you ARE and you've noticed a slump, you might want to try eating
less protein. It's called gluconeogenesis. Look it up on google.com to
