After re-reading the list guidelines, I realise that I have been guilty =
of a dereliction in cyber manners by never introducing myself when I =
joined this list.
Too late now. But I can offer a status report.
I am probably the worst practitioner of paleo eating here. I cheat every =
day. I love milky coffee and plenty of tea. I also eat yoghurt about =
three or four times a week. I probably eat too much fruit. And I can't =
stand fat, so fatty meats are out.
But I am consistent about never eating cereals, grains and legumes.

Results after doing this for about the last six months.
Bowel problems (IBS, spastic colon) dramatically improved, touch wood. =
(I suspect that I would feel a lot better in that area if I stopped =
having milk/milk products. That's the next project.)
Indigestion/heartburn disappeared. Bloody wheat/cereals must have been =
causing all that!
Slight weight gain, according to my scales. Nothing dramatic. About 4 or =
5 pounds. But on a small frame that should show up in terms of tighter =
fitting clothes. Except it doesn't. Appears to be muscle.
General level of fitness much improved.
Slightly elevated body temperature. No, not hot flashes - not yet =
anyway. Just warmer overall. And that's a change because I used to be a =
cold frog.
These sound like modest gains but they have made a big difference to my =
quality of life. Might get motivated to follow the guidelines a bit more =
strictly in future.

All the best

Evelyn
