I agree with Adrienne in this post and would add just a bit more on the
total fat/saturated fat issue and dissention on the list.
I watch my total fat/saturated fat because of Syndrome X and insulin
resistance in my family. I know from my own experience that too much sat
fat causes me to gain fat when that is the only difference in my intake.
The bottom line for me is what I see and feel with my body since going
paleo. I've read the books and research and been on the list for quite a
while, learning from all of you and trial and error, so now I rely on my
physical and mental self. What's right for one may not be right for
another. Some do fine with more sat fat, I don't. Lets keep a proper
perspective here cavemates. Diet is like fingerprints. Oliva

sardines a day and often more than that) , nor did I suggest that we "flood"
ourselves with saturated fats (although when I feel like it, I eat saturated
fat off meat, plus eggs.) Unless one is willing to eat a diet composed
entirely of moose and omega-3 rich fatty fish such as sardines, mackeral,
etc., I am merely questioning the rationale of gobbling down massive amounts
of highly polyunsaturated oils and fats.
