Anyone know where this number came from. When my doctor said women need at
least 1,000-1,500 mg per day, I asked what that was based on. I would think
that shorter people with smaller bones need less. Unless one supplements or
takes in dairy, I just do not believe that one can get this much absorbable
calcium from plants. Also, I eat sardines but even those only have about
360mg per can.
