Communications Director
The Department of Health and Family Services (DHFS); Office of the
Secretary is seeking a Communications Director in Madison who will bring
considerable creativity, innovation, enthusiasm, and excellent public
relations skills to this position.
This Director is an integral member of the senior management team
responsible for developing and deploying the Department's strategic
communications. The position plays a lead role in disseminating
important and complex information within the state and nationally on
health and family services. The Director advises the Secretary and
senior management staff on press matters and strategies.
The starting pay is between $54,200 and $84,010 per year depending on
qualifications, plus excellent benefits. A two-year Career Executive
trial period may be required.
