Local Dance Group to Perform for Nobel Peace Prize Laureates in Rome,
Italy

WHAT: Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk will join members of the
international Call for Peace Drum & Dance Company, based at the Bayview
International Center for Education and the Arts, Madison, for a press
conference to make the following announcement:

Madison's "Call for Peace Drum & Dance Company" has received a rare
invitation to perform at the Fourth Global Summit for the Nobel Peace
Prize Laureates in Rome, Italy, hosted by Mayor Walter Veltroni of Rome,
and Nobel Laureate President Mikhail Gorbachev, Nov. 28, 29, 30, 2003.

Some members of the company will perform in traditional dress at the
announcement event.

FACTS

.Since 1990, Madison, Wisconsin's Call For Peace Drum & Dance Company
has been known for their long standing service, commitment, and mission
to promote a vision of peace to our nation and the world, having
performed in the United States, Germany, Russia, Israel, and Egypt.

.Call For Peace is the only international dance company that brings
together directors and performers from national and international
cultural dance companies.

.Bayview International Center for Education and the Arts is a
grassroots effort to promote cultural and environmental awareness
education through schools, colleges, conferences and after-school
programming in Madison and throughout Wisconsin.
