I don't know, but with regard to raw hamburger it
seems to me the issue is fairly simple -- it's
probably safe but there is always a small but not
infitessimally small chance that it will be
contaminated with something really bad. So those who
want to can take the chances, and others probably
prefer to be on the safe side. I don't see the
argument as being realy clear-cut one way or the
other. Personally I avoid it, but I don't think it's
horrendously dangerous.
