I see chocolate..... :-)
I was looking for a magnesium source that does not also have lots of
calcium.
I checked the label on a generic bottle of Milk of Magnesia. A
teaspoon-full has 400 mg of magnesium Hydroxide (167 mg of magnesium).
The other ingredients are salt 1.9 mg, and water.
Anyone know if this is a useful form of magnesium? The dose for use as
an antacid or laxative is much higher, 4 tablespoons full. A
teaspoon-full a day doesn't sound like a lot.
One amusing thing. It advises you to take it with a large glass of
water when you use it as a laxative. Most people wouldn't ned a
laxative at all if they just drank the water!
