Jewish Community Picnic -- Sunday, August 28
The annual Madison Jewish Community Council Community Picnic will be held
(rain or shine) on Sunday, August 28, from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Irwin
A. and Robert D. Goodman Jewish Community Campus, 7762 County Highway PD
(corner of PD and Timber Lane), Verona. The picnic will include a
celebration of the last 15 years of refugee resettlement featuring desserts
prepared by the émigré community, Russian theater performance of "Fedot
Sreloc," singing and dancing by the Russian school, and a photo display. In
addition there will be a performance by Yonim, Madison's Israeli dance
troupe. Free open swim, children's games, sports and other recreational
activities. "Information Lane" to learn about the Madison Jewish community.
Food includes kosher hot dogs. Everyone is welcome. For more information
