At least one message about Trader Joe's said to use their GF list with a
grain of salt. I agree. I don't know know if Trader Joe's makes ANY of their
branded foods, but I know MANY of the products are co-packed (made by a
company that makes products under other brand names). I have encountered
products where TJ says it is GF, but when I talked to the actual
manufacturer, they are less likely to call their products gluten free (the
manufacturer is more attuned to potential cross-contamination).

As SCA/USA says in the intro their GF Commercial Products Listing (7th Ed.),
"Manufacturers may not be using a zero-tolerance definition of gluten free...."
As we have more and more choices each day, we cannot become complacent and
stop verifying for ourselves.
