Hello

I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy last week and so far the results have come
back positive. However, this was the first time I was awake for the
proceedure in 5 years and I was in enormous pain. I believe they were not
able to fully sedate me, as previous years, due to the increased amount of
sedatives I have been on lately. My doctor is a wonderful man ~ said he
gave me twice as much sedation as last year. There were no polyps this year
and he said there was slight improvement in my esophagus area, however my
stomach looked red so he took a bioposy in the event that there was
infectious bacteria present. I have not yet heard back regarding the
bacteria. My question is does anyone happen to know WHY a person's colon
would be loopy (twisted and difficult to maneuver through) and if there is
anything I can do about it? Thanks!!!
Sue
