Dear Listies,
At a recent support group, a father with CD inquired about the necessity of having his children ages 1 and 4 years, tested for the genetic component for CD. Is this the recommended course for asymptomatic children, or would it be better to do the regular celiac panel of IgG,, IgA, tTg, EMA, etc.?

Thanks for your words of wisdom.

Cheryl in PA
