First, I'd suggest using Yahoo! to find out about things like startup
entries and services you don't know about. I don't know anything about
Adobe Gamma Loader except what I found on the web. Apparently it's part
of Adobe Photoshop, which I don't use, and it's a utility used to
calibrate your monitor. I assume it's to make sure the colors you see
on your monitor are the colors that will be printed, or something like
that. The first hit on Yahoo! is as follows, which obviously has tons
more information!

I'd assume that if you don't know what Adobe Gamma Loader is then you
don't need it started for you automatically.
