yes he use tofu and all the forms of soya based foods ( tempeh , Nato, miso
, milk. roasted etc...) today i gave him a lesson about soya not being as
good as it is advertised . he is just starting to listen and have been
starting to eliminate wheat ( that he replace with other grains ) just for
one or 2 weeks . tonigh we did picnic both families together at the lake ,
and they were asking me advice about what they brought( if it was okay to
eat ) they show me a package of ( listen well) bread advertised on front of
the package "without flour "and he interpreted as wheat free ( as the
advertisers wanted him to believe ....well done )
sceptic and sure that it will be not wheat free , i asked to read the label
.
on the front in big letters it read "with flax seed and without flour" when
i read the ingredients in a small corner at the back , first , as expected
by me , was sprouted wheat ( clever ) ....
i dont remember all the detail of all the inedible used except that one as
a third ingredient "dehydrated cane juice " ( even more clever a new way of
not saying sugar). I couldn't believe it that friend who is so carefull
about the source of his food, getting fooled like that .
peoples are so bombarded with contradictory informations that they loose
their critical sense.

after that he presented the pop rice bread , the cheeses, there was lettuce
,pesto, fenel , crakers of some sort, but also the hip of his mutton that i
convinced him to stop feeding grain last year, i had brought deer tongue and
meat and goat liver with lettuce and tarragon , macadamia nuts , kenari nuts
and dry salmon .

i have lot of work to do with him as he is a "gourmand " ( because he ate
everything except the false "good" bread and despite his misery with hay
fever i can sense that he doesnt want to surrender totally.
