Hi folks,
Well, here's a big one for ya. Remember when I was
talking about something coming up on my screen that
interfered with my browser reading down a web page?
Well, yesterday afternoon, it happened, and I found it
was windows update popping up, obviously trying to
update. Now, I use windows 98SE, and so I am
wondering this *huge* question. Do I need to keep
windows update, or can I get rid of it completely from
my system so it won't bother me again? I don't want
to get rid of it if I will need to update my system in
the future.
Now, the next question is, if I can get rid of it, how
do I remove windows update from my system completely?
I went to add/remove programs, but windows update is
not listed in that list of programs that I can remove.
Let me know what I should do, ok?
take care,
Harry
