Just a thought, I have often heard on this list that people lost a lot
of weight at first, or the first time they tried paleo, or low carb, or
whatever, but that subsequently they could not lose weight. I wonder if
it isn't just learning how to make delicious high cal foods like this
that causes the problem.

When we start paleo, we don't know much and have to limit ourselves to
those simple foods we know are OK. Later, we learn which stores sell
good nuts, so we begin to eat lots of nuts, and we learn to make
coconut shakes, or nut flour cookies, or whatever high cal food we
crave. So our calorie intake soars, and weight loss fails.

Just a thought.
