Listmates,
A short time ago I asked for a pork and potato recipe for turkey
stuffing. I received 6 recipes. Additionally, 8 people wanted the recipe
if I got it. The recipe that most closely seems like my mother's recipe
follows. Thanks for all the help.
1 lb lean ground beef
1 lb lean ground pork
(you can also add ground veal if you wish)
2 minced onions
3 minced garlic cloves
about 1 c. of gf chicken broth
1 t. gf chicken granules
1 t. gf dry beef bouillon
1 1/2 t. paprika
1 T. dry parsley
1 t. black pepper
1 t. salt
1 1/2 mixed fines herbes
1/4 t. ground clove
about 4-5 potatoes, boiled or baked, and mashed (I use the ricer)
Brown the meat with the onions and garlic, add all the other ingredients
except the potatoes.
Let simmer about 1 hr, and add the potatoes. Excellent.
