Hi Carol:
First, insert a is a JFW function, secondly, I suggest that when in Outlook,
and when you have the message with the attachment highlighted, you can go to
file, save attachment and save it. It is generally not a good idea to open
an attachment without scanning it for viruses first. Save the attachment in
a folder, open Windows Explorer, go to the folder where you saved the
attachment, highlight it, scan it for viruses then open it if it is virus
free.
Hope this helps.
James

I use Outlook Express as my e-mail program and Window-Eyes as my screen =
reader. I am having difficulty opening an attachment when I receive one =
and I am wondering if someone can help me solve my problem. Someone =
suggested that I use "insert-a", but that doesn't work even when I use =
the Window-Eyes bypass command. Is there an Outlook keyboard command =
for opening attachments, or is there something in Window-Eyes that I =
need to do?
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
Carol
