Mike,
You can't go wrong with buying a name-brand product. Kingston and Crucial
come to mind. There are other more advanced products out there that appeal
to the overclocking set but for general purpose use I always go name brand.
You CAN save a few dollars going with generic stuff but in my experience
the quality control isn't as good. I've yet to have a Crucial or Kingston
memory module fail. I have the same M/B as you do so you're looking for
PC2100 memory. (184 pin, 2.5 v., Non ECC) If you're running XP, then go
for 512 MB. You may want to consider buying a little faster memory...IE
PC2700 or even PC3200. Right now I think the PC3200 is actually the
cheapest in the OEM channel. You can slow it down, but you can't speed it
up. If you ever decided to go to a faster FSB you'd have to get new memory
if you bought the PC2100.
Hope this helps you out.
